Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of mobileappdesign.io (the “Service”), operated by mobileappdesign (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

mobileappdesign is a curated research library of mobile app interface screenshots, flows, and design patterns, enriched with metadata such as estimated revenue and download figures. The Service is intended as a reference and research tool for designers, product teams, and researchers studying how successful apps are designed.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. An account is for a single person: you may not share your login with others, pool access across a team on one account, or let anyone else use your subscription. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid access (“Pro”) is billed annually. The current price is shown on the plans page at the time of purchase.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.
• We may change pricing with notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Service and use its content for design research, reference, education, and inspiration. You may not:

• scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract screenshots, metadata, or any other content from the Service, whether manually or with automated tools;
• redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise make the Service’s content available to third parties, including in a competing or derivative library, dataset, or product;
• use the content to train machine-learning models or build datasets;
• circumvent, disable, or interfere with paywalls, access controls, or security features;
• share account credentials or resell access to the Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Third-party content and intellectual property

The screenshots in the library depict apps created and owned by third parties. All trademarks, product names, logos, and app interfaces shown remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the library is for the purpose of commentary, research, reference, and education, and does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners.

Everything else about the Service — including its curation, organisation, pattern taxonomy, metadata, design, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.

6. Content removal requests

If you own rights in an app featured in the library and would like content removed or corrected, email support@mobileappdesign.io with a link to the content in question and proof of ownership. We review takedown requests promptly and remove content where appropriate.

7. Accuracy of data

Revenue and download figures shown alongside apps are third-party estimates provided for context only. They are not audited financials and may be inaccurate or out of date. Do not rely on them for investment, financial, or business decisions.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

We work hard to keep the Service fast and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We may add, change, or remove features or content at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in section 4, in which case no refund is owed for the remainder of your billing period.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where practical, notify you by email or in the product. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
